Psalm 24 reads, "Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter."

This is a call to all believers in Jesus, not only the pastors and elders: step out! Revival will come where you step out in faith in obedience of God’s leading. Share your hope, faith and the love of God.

The old castle doors lifted up from the bottom and not sideways like our normal doors. That is why it says in most of the Bible translations :” Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.” (KJV). Look up… Jesus, the Lord has arrived!

King David talks about ancient doors in Psalm 24. Some of us are stuck in ancient habits, traditions and our cozy comfort zones. Don’t live for yourself, that is far too small…live for something much bigger; someone much grander. Live for the Kingdom of God.

God is good. Many people ask why a loving God will send people to such a terrible lake of fire? They got it all wrong. God tries to rescue the world from the lake of fire. Sin has to be punished. Every little sin deserves punishment. So all people deserves to be punished. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was the only person ever to be without sin and actually deserved to go to heaven.

God is good. Out of love Jesus volunteered to swop places with us. God punished Himself. Jesus swopped His innocence for the guilt of the human race. Jesus identified Himself with our sins and He became SIN. He also took the blame and the shame of our sins on Himself. He was punished for our rebellion. What does this message imply? It means that the whole world may go to heaven, because all sins has been paid for. No one should go to hell…except those who rejects God’s plan to rescue us. Those who prefer to pay for their own sins. Those who still tries to live a PERFECT life themselves to please God. This wonderful contract becomes valid to YOU when you confess your faith in Jesus.

We believe that God created the universe and right in the beginning He also planned the end. Yes, we believe in the Bible as the authoritative infallible Word of God. We see it in archaeological findings, the prophecies that come true and the millions of lives that are supernaturally changed by the Gospel.

We believe in the Trinity: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. God is male. Jesus is the Way and the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Yes, we believe that Jesus the Messiah will enter through the Eastern Gate in Jerusalem and rule for a 1000 years from Jerusalem. Jesus will marry His bride…soon!

Everything is not doom and gloom. God is at work. In every town God calls his willing servants to step out and to make a difference…to open the gates! There are many churches that are corrupt, some fall in the trap of pride… so proud of their building, numbers, praise and worship etc., churches that put evangelism last on their agenda, etc. But God always keeps a remnant.

We must become less and He must become more. In my weakness He is strong. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. I am so thrilled to see so many loving believers who have faith in action to bring revival where ever they go!

What a privilege and a huge responsibility to live in the end times. May God open our eyes and give us insight. May He find us busy with His work when he comes to fetch us. Hallelujah!
